Each piece is made on a potters wheel, from English porcelain. Though throwing is Justin’s primary forming method, his newest work relies on a variety of hand building techniques as well. He uses a traditional glazes along with original formulas. The glazes, including celadon and copper red, are all fired in reduction to cone ten.
